Three Generations, One Tradition: Integrity
In 1919, when Paulo Geiss’ maternal grandfather opened his first jewelry store in Santo Angelo, Brazil, he could have hardly known he was founding a legacy of jewelry excellence. Immigrating to the U.S. in 1964, Paulo’s father, Bruno, began his own jewelry store in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Carrying on the family tradition, Paulo spent three years in Pforzheim, Germany mastering the art of goldsmithing at Goldschmiedeschule (Jewelers School) and Fachhochschule fuer Gestaltung (Academy for the Arts and Design) before returning to the States. In 1984, he opened Paulo Geiss Jewelers in historic Charleston, South Carolina.
Providing the finest jewelry and showcasing the most well regarded designers for nearly 100 years, the Geiss family has built a reputation of quality coupled with unequaled customer service.
